How to Upgrade Items in Pokemon GO
The Upgrade is one the most valuable items in Pokemon GO. It allows trainers to evolve Porygon2 into Porygon and progress in their Pokedex.
While this item is quite rare, players can find it by spinning an image disc at a Pokestop or as a reward during some special events. But what exactly does this item actually do?
Components
Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, weapons or gathering tools in order to give them an added benefit. They are an essential component for crafting. They can be gathered by salvaging or bought from vendors. They can also be found as drops in the game dropped by enemies or collected from item spheres. They can be used to upgrade armor or weapons by using an upgrade slot.
Using upgrade components to maximize the experience gained from upgrading equipment and weapons is key to achieving the highest level of progress in the game. Incorporating organic components into an upgraded item will increase its experience multiplier, whereas mechanical components will decrease it. The best combination is a high experience-multiplier organic component followed by a low-experience-multiplier mechanical component. This will increase the amount of learning experience you get and make it easier to reach the next level.
The upgrade process is complicated, and it's important to understand how it operates in order to benefit the most from your upgrades. The system keeps a running total of the item that you are upgrading. Each component has a positive or negative experience multiplier value, and when the total reaches certain thresholds, it will be reset to zero.
The amount of experience gained from each upgrade component could be influenced by the item's hidden rank and its multiplier of experience. This means that the higher-ranked items are more difficult to upgrade, while lower-ranked items are simpler to reach.
If a new version of the hardware is installed, it's essential to carefully remove all existing connections and fasteners that hold the old component in place. Keep them in the parts tray for quick identification and secure storage. Reconnect all cables and wires, and connect the power supply. Then, test the computer by turning it on. If everything is connected properly, the computer should boot up normally. This is a vital step to ensure that the new hardware will be compatible with your existing system.
Glyphs
Glyphs are a great tool to make your gear better, but you need to be able to utilize them correctly. Each glyph can be used to improve a substat, and the higher the rank of a Glyph, the more powerful it becomes. Be careful since you can only upgrade Glyphs once. Glyphs are also only available once and disappear after you have used them on an artifact or item.
The most effective symbols are those that increase your chance to roll an affix that is of the desired tier or type. They are typically found on the top weapons, armor, and accessories. They can also be found on the Paragon Board and are usually worth the effort, but they may be difficult to locate.
Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Chests, or purchased from the Trading Post. Certain glyphs can only be used once, while others will remain in place. The latter are great for items that have to be used frequently. The Glyph of Hope allows you to increase your chances of getting an affix that is specific by enchanting an item.
Some glyphs can also be used to modify existing affixes. This is common on gloves and boots. Each glyph can hold four different affixes. The Glyph of Insight for example, turns a prefix in an experimental affix. This is a fantastic tool to have if are looking to increase the amount of damage you can do or you want to ensure that you'll receive a top-quality affix for a specific slot.
Once you reach 50, the game shifts drastically. You'll no longer be able count on the campaign. Instead, you'll have to navigate the Paragon Board, Nightmare Dungeons and new grinds to maximize your game.
The most effective glyphs will be ones that are compatible with your character's class, like the Exploit Glyph, which boosts damage to weak enemies. Other good glyphs include the Control Glyph, which boosts damage to enemies that are stunned, frozen or reduced. Each glyph has its own radius, which increases as it is upgraded. This makes glyphs an excellent way to upgrade your gear late in the game.
