How to Upgrade Items in Pokemon GO
The Upgrade is one the most valuable items in Pokemon GO. It allows trainers to evolve Porygon2 into Porygon and progress in their Pokedex.

Components

They can be gathered by salvaging or bought from vendors. They can also be found as drops in the game dropped by enemies or collected from item spheres. They can be used to upgrade armor or weapons by using an upgrade slot.
Using upgrade components to maximize the experience gained from upgrading equipment and weapons is key to achieving the highest level of progress in the game. Incorporating organic components into an upgraded item will increase its experience multiplier, whereas mechanical components will decrease it. The best combination is a high experience-multiplier organic component followed by a low-experience-multiplier mechanical component.
